Elena S. Monarch, Ph.D.

Dr. Monarch is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Anselm College and Ph.D. from Emory University. After completing her internship and postdoctoral training at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA, she returned to New England to develop the Social Skills Training Program. She has published numerous scientific articles and chapters and has presented her research at national conferences. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and is licensed in Massachusetts as well as Rhode Island.

Dr. Monarch has fifteen years of experience conducting neuropsychological evaluations and providing services to individuals who have social skills difficulties, including children and adults with social anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), nonverbal learning disability, and Asperger’s Disorder. Her Social Skills Training Programs are available through individual coaching, group classes, and school or business workshops. Her current interests include communication skills training, school/business consultations, neuropsychological evaluations, social developmental disorders, and stress /anxiety management.
